Regarding Motorola123Scan2 1.01.0006 EN
Hi Friends
In this application "Motorola123Scan2 1.01.0006 EN" vendor given the "Vendor msi". After installing the msi i launched the shortcut its giving the error as below mentioned.
"123Scan2 Launch Error
The Scanner Drivers are not launched properly.
Please re-launch 123Scan2 as an Administrator to fix the problem."
But when i am installed and launching the setup.exe the shortcut is launching properly.
My question is whether i need to take gap capture with Picture taker tool (i.e) Install the setup.exe and lauch the shortcut ,or i need to take full capture.
Note : why i am asking whether i need the full capture, some times it may have some additional things.if any one done this package pls help me.
Thanks in advance.

A gap capture is a good idea but do it this way:
- install your MSI
- take your 'Before' snapshot.
- remove the products 'Uninstall' registry entry (so that the WI engine doesn't "know" that the produc is already installed.
- run the vendor's set-up EXE
- take the 'After' snapshot
- incorporate any relevant changes into your package.

As Ian said, it should give you fruitful result.
In case.., You can also try this way also
1. Take the full capture of media using Picture Taker.
2. Insall your package on a clean machineand on the top of it apply Picture Taker ( which u get from Step1)
3. Check your application... if its working fine....then you should have something in picture taker file n not in your package. Trial n error method will give you the result.
