Removing Amazon MP3 downloader using Kace

I'm using the uninstall wizard in Kace to try and remove Amazon MP3 downloader however it's not working and the uninstall information supplied by the Kace wizard doesn't correct.  I've attached an image showing what the wizard is supplies.  Does anyone know what the correct uninstall command information needs to be?  thanks, Keith

  • Shouldn't it be Directory: c:\Program Files\Amazon\MP3 Downloader
    Then File: Uninstall.exe
Parameters not sure on - petelanglois 11 years ago
    • I installed the software on my PC and using the above info from Pete works but the uninstall wizard pops up. I tried the uninstall /? from the command line but it gave no 'help hints' and just ran the uninstall wizard. So I'm not sure if there is a "silent"switch or not for uninstalling this. Thanks everyone for the helpful info and tips. - kjunkin 11 years ago
    • /qn didn't work...wizard popped up - kjunkin 11 years ago
      • The only thing you can do is try all the common /q /silent /qn etc tags to get it to go in silent mode. - petelanglois 11 years ago
  • Try installing the Amazon MP3 downloader on a test pc and running uninstall.exe via CMD with /?. Sometime you can get switch information from that. Also, see if you can extract the EXE and see what's within the package. - easterdaymatt 11 years ago

The uninstaller wizard shows information based on what shows up in K1000 inventory.

Pete is correct, the structure needs to be modified. You would also need to find what switches are needed to uninstall silently.

It is a Nullsoft Installer so Parameter "/S" will switch to silent Uninstall.
