removing regisrty entries after uninstallation
Hi,
I am new to packaging. Now I am working with an application which creates some registry keys under HKCU based on the preferences of the user. Here is an issue that these regisrty entries are not geting removed even after the application is uninstalled. So the application launches in a different way after installing for the second time. Please give me a solution for this.(The application is using an MSI for installation)
Thanks

true, but the OP needs those keys deleted when running a new installation.
since at uninstall, he needs to load each and every registry user file, it's much easier to have a script that will remove the keys before running a new installation.
about your job, you know me, i'm also a big mis-reader ;-) i'm trying to help, but sometimes my english makes me misunderstand the question. i need to keep trying though, that's how i'm learning :)
