Repackaging Installshield install.exe

Hi I am trying to repackage Avaya Module Messaging v5.9
It comes as an install.exe - the .msi I create appears to be OK, but when I uninstall it, the Control Panel breaks (i.e. I get error messages re language resource files missing (which are part of the MM install) and ocumoption.cpl is missing (which is also part of MM)).
I attempted to try running the .msi that is extracted during the install and looked through the log files for any hints but am a bit stuck. Also tried to run the install.exe to generate an .iss file but no go. Also tried to repackage with an evaluation version of AdminStudio and got the same thing ... oh and no help from the vendor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you getting any errors on install when running the MSI? Try logging.

When you captured it with Installshield, what repackaging method did you use? The "Installation Monitoring Mode" is useless, you should always use "Multiple Snapshot Mode".

Thanks for your response. I have finally got some documentation and there is a customised install string. FYI I didn't get any errors when logging the msi and will stick with WPS!
