Repacking a word plug-in
hi,
i have a Docmap generator package which consist of word plug-in.
this word plug-in is not working properly as intended . so i have to create a new and replce this.I don't have any idea about how to package a plug-in.
any help is appreciated .

Shweta,
Most Word Plugins that I've seen consist of .DOT files (Word Templates) that get installed to <userprofile>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup or <Allusers>\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Startup or C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office<11/12>\STARTUP.
If you have an existing package check if anything along these lines gets installed by it.
also make sure you don't overwrite normal.dot
