Have you ever heard of this special hidden feature on AppDeploy called "Search"?
Today is your lucky day, because i'm in such a good mood I'll show you my little secret. But don't tell anyone else: Search. The magic command words are default printer.
Just promise me you won't tell anyone else of this secret.

Then you must have overlooked the excellent note watkykjy added in the Package Knowledge Base which can be found here
Click on Notes and then scroll down, his note regarding default printers is the second to last in the discussion.

Spartacus,
watkykjy has given the setup for new build, In my requirement there are multiple printers are already installed and i need to set the "HP LaserJet 4" as default printer for Rightfax.
After installing the Rightfax 9.3, it is setting default printer as "HP LaserJet 4" only where no other printers are installed. but it is failing in the machines where multiple printers are already installed.
Hey Gilmore....
we can able to configure default printer as "Rightfax Printer", but it is using other drivers instead of "HP LaserJet 4".
How to set default printer for Rightfax application.
Thanks in Advance........

Hello VBScab,
I have checked with the prnmngr.vbs file, there is no option available to edit the driver model for respective printer.
To add the printer below is the command available:
cscript prnmngr.vbs -a -p "RightFax Fax Printer" -m "HP LaserJet 4" -r "lpt1:"
i tried it to edit... by changing some changes (used -t instead of -a)... but no use
cscript prnmngr.vbs -t -p "RightFax Fax Printer" -m "HP LaserJet 4" -r "lpt1:"
option is available only to set the default printer...
i need to change only the driver model.. printer is already added,.
Regards,
arexay.
