Run inventory through script
Morning all,
I am deploying out a particular software package through a K1 script and whilst this is working fine, I'd like to force a run inventory as part of the script. After the script has run across anumber of machines, I need to manually go into each machine and run the inventory process before they will show up on my report of "completed" machines". (a PITA when running it aginst the best part of 300 machines)
Any idea how I can do this?
Many thanks. Dave

K1000 - 5.3 Agent Commands (runkbot.exe)
This is a list of agent commands given to me by support recently for 5.3:
Trigger inventory: KInventory.exe -machine -out "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Dell\KACE\inventory.xml"
Verify the inventory being submitted. There should be an inventory.yaml file in the same directory
Repairs kinventory: c:\program files\dell\kace\kinventory.exe -autorepair
Enables debugging: amptools.exe debug=true
runkbot 1 0 does bootstrap
runkbot 2 0 is called K1000 client run and runs Kupdater
runkbot 3 0 does scripting updates
runkbot 4 0 does check in/inventory
runkbot 5 0 does agent upgrades
runkbot 6 0 does managed installs and file syncs
Cache Directories:
For Win 7 - c:\programdata\dell\kace
For XP - c:\documents and settings\all users\dell\kace
Resets the hostname in the amp.conf: c:\program files\dell\kace\amptools.exe -resetconf host=hostname
To Access the log files with 5.3 Agent installed:
For Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Dell\Kace
For Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Dell\Kace
