Self heal removing other features in same directory????
I have a vendor msi(clue dictionary). In that there were 40 features.(no child features at all). 2 features have the exe files and the remaining features have the .dat and .idx files. All the features were installing files in the same directory.
The issue starts now..
When I remove the keypath exe and launch the shortcut it starts to selfheal.In the process of self healing I observed the database files in 38 features were getting deleted leaving only 2 features to remain(exe related files)
In the log I observer Removefiles actions removing the files.
Not sure why the self healing is touching the other features (38 ) to delete

Pick any one of the files that are being removed on self-heal, go to the RemoveFile table and examine the InstallMode value for that particular file - is the value '3' by any chance ?
