Sequencing BOXI 3.1 sp5 client on a win7 x64 sequencer - (iRepoAccess::retrieveAuthModeInfos) The specified module could not be found

Hi,

I have packaged the BOXI 3.1 sp5 client on a win7 x64 sequencer. During the sequencing process I am able to run Desktop Intelligence and Designer (which are the only two apps that we need). The package is then deployed via the App-V management server however, when either application is launched, the SAP BusinessObjects splash screen appears and then I get the following Repository Error:

(iRepoAccess::retrieveAuthModeInfos) The specified module could not be found

I have tried to look for problem .dll's using procmon but no joy. There is an article on the web regarding the same error which referred to missing .dll's (atl71.dll) but this seems to be for older operating systems as it is present on the sequencer.

I have tried sequencing the client app on a win7 x86 machine and still get the same issue.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Tin

Aditionaly you could check that you have following dll's in your sequence - mfc71.dll, mfc71u.dll, msvcp71.dll, atl71.dll

This was resolved by installing the boxi client to its default location c:\program files (x86)\business objects. Hope this helps someone else.
