Server Busy error after setup capture

Hi,

I am having a server busy error after the setup capture in Wise Package Studio. I am creating an msi file for a silent install of an application. If I click 'switch to', the start menu just opens and the loading bar just continues, if I click retry, the grouping files with registration loading bar just continues. When the loading seems complete, if I click finish, the error message, just keeps popping up. It won't let the setup capture actually finish and create the msi file.

here's the screenshot

If it has something to do with the exclusion list, I didn't do anything when the exclusion list screen came out, I just clicked on next.

I am really having a hard time with this error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :)

When do you get the "Server Busy" dialog?
Some times it can feel like forever until the capture has finished due a very large installation containing many registry, files and INI-files (many ini-entries takes forever). If so, check the activity of the wfwi.exe process before clicking away.

Hi AngelD,

This is during the grouping files with registration phase after setup capture. There has been a progress! What you said was right, I just left wise package even though it seem like it hangs. When I woke up, it is now in the "Adding registry keys to install" phase. Thanks!

So, as long as the wfwi.exe process is still consuming memory, it is still working right? Although it may seem like it hangs..

Thank you for the reply.
