shockwave player 13 or older.
Hi,
I want to do a fully unattended install of the shockwave player 10.1
For this I install the sw full.exe with the /s switch.
Then I start the unyt.exe /s to remove the yahoo bar.
Now comes the hardest part. As soon as I visit shockwave.com and
try some games to play, it fires up a window 'are you 13 or older' (or similar).
No until after I do 'no', (or yes and fill in some extra fields), the installation seems
to be really finished.
I haven't been able to do this last part unattended. Can somebody please
help me with that. I managed to find reg. keys like IsUnderAge and
InstallComplete, but setting them doesn't seem to work.

Found the following note in the WinINSTALL forum which I think relates to Shockwave 8, but the information in it may be (at least partially) applicable to your version :
The article is at :
[link]http://bbs.ondemandsoftware.com/forum/thread-view.asp?threadid=652&posts=2[/link]
I have included an extract below :
[font="Courier New"]Use this command line and do not repack it:
Shockwave_Installer_Full.exe /S
You may use it as a Custom Action in a MSI or in Pre / Post in NAI.
Also you need at least the following HKCU Registry entries, avoiding any user input:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8]
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\autoupdate]
@="n"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\collectstats]
@="n"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\dialogsviewed]
@="1,12,2,9,5"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\isUnderAge]
@="0"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\privacy]
@="ap"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\reregister]
@="n"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\sw702down]
@="y"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8\sw702installed]
@="y"
AND delete the following key to hide it in ARP:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Shockwave]
"DisplayName"="Shockwave"
The registry information in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Shockwave 8] looks particularly interesting - especially the dialogsviewed key. Perhaps you could examine the Current User portion of the registry for your version of ShockWave and find if something similar gets written there after your confirmation at the "13 or over" dialog ?

Spartacus
