Shortcut se;f-healing for first time in Admin - AutoCAD Map3D 2011

Hi All,

I am facing an issue in the application AutoCAD Map3D 2011.
I made all the shortcuts advertised. Now, when I launch any of the shortcut in admin, it is self-healing for the first time in admin.

Note : In vendor MSI, the shortcuts were non-advertised but in my MST, they are advertised.

Could you please help me to resolve this.

Why did you create advertised shortcuts? Was it to deploy user profile-based settings or files? If so, did you re-jig the feature tree so that your user feature became the parent of the feature which contains the shortcut(s)? Does the original MSI have an 'IsAdmin' or 'Privileged' check? If so, does your MST remove it?

If this is on XP look in the eventlog. There will be messages telling you exactly which components are missing their keypaths and thus triggering the repair.

is it happening on every launch or only first time, if it is only first time then I would check whether installation is making any changes in the current user...if so then this is expected result.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
