silent installation
[font="microsoft sans serif"]I've an installshield Setup.exe that extracts the below files using the cmd "setup.exe /Extract_All:"C:\Setup"".
[font="microsoft sans serif"]Setup.exe,
_Setup.dll,
data1.cab,
data2.cab,
data1.hdr,
ISSetup.dll,
layout.bin,
setup.ini
setup.inx.
[font="microsoft sans serif"]This extracted setup.exe will install two applications(ActiView and Visual Presenter V2).
The main setup.exe was extracting two exe's in the temp folder out of which Visual Presenter only can be installed separately. Actiview's setup.exe inturn is trying to install Visual Presenter also. I generated a Setup.iss file from the main executable to install it silently but only Actiview installs silently. It then prompts the wizard of Visual Presenter.
[font="microsoft sans serif"]On further research got to know that the Installshield's version in Actiview's setup.exe is "7.0" and Visual Presenter's is "6.0".
[font="microsoft sans serif"]Hence this application cannot be installed silently with a single response file. Any help regarding this will be greatly appreciated.
