Silent installation of VLC - Set as Default Media Player

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to deploy VLC as our default media player across campus (Both in our K1000 and K2000). Is there any way I can set this preference in the installer package? If anyone has gotten this to work and knows the proper steps please let me know - thanks!

Also, we're running Windows 7 64-bit SP1 Enterprise. Cheers!

Seems this would be the english language install:
vlc-2.0.1-win32.exe /L=1033 /S

I'm not sure how to set it to be the default player, but this page certainly has lots of ideas on plug-ins, etc.
