SMS reports/Queries
Im tryin to figure out a way to do either a SMS report or Querie for a gif file. Ive tried everything I can think of to search for it, but I dont know any of the scripting and have only been using built in features. Any help on this issue would be great.

I have no idea, but you'd probably have a better chance searching or posting on http://www.myitforum.com/forums/tt.asp?forumid=144

PhoenixCreation,
If you've not configured the Software Inventory Client Agent to collect this information, then you won't be able to report on it.
Site Database-Site Hierarchy-<servername>-Site Settings-Client Agents
On the Inventory Collection tab you can configure the file types to inventory, either by providing the name of the file you wish to report on, or by using wildcards to collect all files of a type (*.gif).
Once you have this configured then Inventory Schedule on the General tab will dictate how soon you can report on the files.
Hope this helps,
Dunnpy
PS - the Distribution>SMS board would probably be the best place to have posted this query
