Softgrid and Office 2003

I am having a heck of a time sequencing (some components default to the C: drive), then packaging and launching OFFICE 2003 standard edition. I get lauch failed message on the client side and it states that the application cannot be found on the system data store.

Does anyone have step by step instructions from sequencing to importing the application in Softgrid for Office 2003? I am running Softgrid version 4.2.
Thanks.

Check the server log. You probably have a publishing error where the path to the SFT is wrong.

This sounds siimilar to what i've seen befer, but not necessarily with Office.

When the Sequencing completes and you are looking at the icons created, check the path on each one. They should be all pointing to your q: drive (or wherever). If you have an icon that goes back to c:, you will need to change it.

COPY THE ICON NAME (stupid bug will delete it when you change the path), then browse for the exe location. Go to your sequencer drive and navigate down to VFS/ thn follow the path to the exe, say VFS/CSIDLPrograms/Office/photoed.exe or something like that. I'm going from memory and lack of coffee while typing but hopefully, you'll be able to follow it.

The problem is that the sequencer is looking for C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 11\Photoed.exe (for example) and it doesn't exist. So it needs to be repointed.
