Temp Internet files removal
I have been asked if it would be possible to remove temp Internet files at a 30 Day Interval. In other words any file in the Temp Internet folder would be deleted after 30 Day. Has anyone else had to do this before?

I once created a script that our desktop support folks would use to help users clean up machines before migrating. It used a number of command line tools to clear the recycle bin, temp files etc. I had one in there as well for deleting the IE cache but I can't rememeber what it was. A quick google check led me to this blog with some command lines that you could use for this endeavor. http://unlockforus.blogspot.com/2008/07/internet-explorer-command-to-delete.html
There's nothing in GPO that lets you do much control with the cache so you're pretty much forced to use an external program to do this. you can wrap one of hte commands on the blog above and push it out via sms or even login script. since it would have to run in the user context and rights aren't a factor, login script would work fine or even user start up script. you could have it only run on say the 1st of hte month or something like that.
