To msi, or not to msi?
Hi all,
There are a lot of applications out there that have the option of deploying silently through some sort of setup. Sometimes there is an msi inside accompanied by a version of isscript. Sometimes there is no silent option. Or you want to customize more than the setup can handle.
In these situations, do you always create (isscriptless) msi's or is "just" silent enough?
This of course, depends largely on the company you're working for. Maybe you don't agree, but you are bound by budget or by strict rules imposed by management.
My poll question is:How strict are you at creating msi's?
