trying to silently install Adobe flash player 10 Active X
I'm trying to silently install Adobe flash player 10 Active X via KACE. So i go to Adobe and download the install file and associate it to a Managed Install.
well, the install DOES work BUT the only way the install works is non-silent and then it installs the adobe flash player 10 plugin. NOT Flash Player 10 Active X! even though i went to the adobe website and downloaded the install file.
i found that the only way to download and install Player 10 Active X is by going to a website that needs the player then click on the install option.
So, has anyone came across this before and would care to enlighten me?
Thanks, Gary

Gary,
Since I'm in a reasonable mood (and I still have the link in my browser history from another post earlier today [:)]), if you look at this site you'll see that there are 2 different installers for the ActiveX (IE) and Plugin (Others, like Firefox) based installations. You can also get the MSI installers here if this would interest you.
Make sure you take into account the fact that you need to get a distribution license from adobe in order to distribute flash player.
