To sliently uninstall Firefox run the following commands (minus the bold characters)
taskkill.exe /f /im firefox.exe

Firefox (64-bit) - IF EXIST "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe" "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe" -ms
Firefox 3.x (32-bit) IF EXIST "%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe" "%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall\helper.exe" /s

hi, i tried this. thanks, it helped a lot. But it is leaving behind some files and user related registries. Do i need to implement uninstall active setup? If so, can anyone please suggest the script in powershell? - Ishita Tripathi 8 years ago
