Uninstall Software Script

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know where this number came from? This script appears from the Uninstall script in Configuration Policies in version 13.2 of KACE SMA.

Because in the latest version (14.0), the Configuration Policies feature has been removed, so I want to try to copy the uninstall script (in KACE v14) based on the Uninstall Script from Configuration Policies (in KACE v13.2).

Or does anyone know the best practice for uninstalling software on the client through KACE SMA?

Thanks before!

depends on the software:
Easiest way:
Go to Inventory|Software|<software of your choice>
If the vendor does its job correctly under UNinstall Command the uninstall command is seen. Just copy it and use it as script or managed (un)install.

Comments:
  • I've tried using an unmanaged installation, and it doesn't seem to work.

Do you have an example script to uninstall the software? - Nzw 3 weeks ago
