Hi all,
I'm trying to customize the installation of mcafee virusscan 8.5i i tried to do with a transform but it does not work for several issues, so i decided to use the installation designer but the package customized isn't a single msi, is there any way to customize this package and release it only the msi without setup? I know that repackage this kind of software is not a best practice but is the last solution that i think

You can use the single msi created by installation designer. It works!

Not, apparently, with AD Group Policy. I tried creating both an administrative install point and a custom installer with Installation Designer. Both of them fail to install when assigned via group policy. And by fail I mean the machine displays "Installing Managed Software McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise" for about 30 seconds every reboot and the software isn't installed.
Any suggestions?
