Vista Permissions?
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has been successfull granting user modify/right access to the windowsfolder within Vista?
I am experiencing problems attempting to apply these permissions manually.
Originally I was using setacl which worked well for xp but the problem was evident in Vista - no errors with the installation though.
I then attempted to apply the permissions manually and I get a message:
an error occured while applying security information.
c:\windows
Access Denied.
I have disabled AUC with the same result.
Oh yeah, this is tested with an account that is apart of the administrators group.
Dont ask why I want to grant access to the windowsfolder - I know it is weird but just curious whether this is possible?
Kind Regards,
Tron2Ole
