VMWare ThinApp and Oracle Clients
Hi,
we're trialling ThinApp at the moment with a view to using it for some old apps on Windows 7. I've packaged an app with Oracle 9i included in the capture. This works fine if it is deployed to a PC without Oracle installed on it. But if there is a version of Oracle on the PC the app defaults to using this instead of the captured version. You can see in the logs for Thinapp that the Environment Variables are being loaded from the OS.
Does anyone know how to override this so we can keep the Oracle 11 Client in Windows 7 and then use Oracle 9i for our captured application?
