Voloview Express 2.x - extract MSI from setup.exe
Apologies if this has already been answered, I've searched the lists but I can't see the answer....
I am following the instructions on packaging Voloview Express 2 by updating the MSI file so that I can deliver using AD.
The only problem is that I can't figure out how to actually get the MSI extracted from the setup package so that I can follow the instructions...
Any help appreciated

Hi, I used winzip to extract the contents of the voloview setup.exe file (right click, extract to folder)...
Otherwise you should be able to start the install routine and look in your system temp folder (e.g. c:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp) and find the msi there.
Cheers,
Rob.

Thanks for the response.
I am using Winzip 8.1 and the latest WinRAR but I get no option to "extract to", as I have done with lots of other files, I've also tried tracking the temp folders to get the msi, but it never seems to appear on the drive (read other posts to this effect).
I even did a snapshot before the install routine removes the temp folder.
Just to clarify, this is the VoloView Express that comes with AutoCAD LT 2002 - oops, just chaecked and it is 1.14, sorry.
