What is the character limitation of the Title text field in the Service Desk work request?

Be advised that your character limit may be set to 255, but what is displayed at the queue level may be different.

Go under Help Desk > Configuration > Queues > your queue > Customize Fields and Layout > Ticket List Layout (should be the last group of options)

By default my queue was set to display 50 characters of the title. If you need to see more than that, or less respectively, this is where that change can be made.
