Where do attachments go?
So people add attachments to tickets, but where do they go? I kind of inherited KACE (minus documentation, naturally) and \\kace brings me to the client and clientdrop share drives but \\kace\c$ (or any other letter drive) does not exist. Can this be accessed? Where do the attachments go? I'd like to be able to open a folder and see all the attachments! (or heck, even open up the KACE drive if possible?)

Also - trying to go to http://EDITEDkace/packages/hd_attachments gives me a permission error? Is there a way to access these portions of kace that I, as the administrator (read: god of rights) of all that is within this building, should be able to see!? KACE restricted for our own safety? - Wildwolfay 11 years ago

Answer Summary:
The attachment share is hidden by default, but there is a patch that you can request from KACE support to make the share available. Please submit a support request: http://www.kace.com/support/contact
