Windows 10 21H1 task sequence with Office

Question

Recently started to deploy Windows 10 21H1 but i have noticed that the task sequence fails during office 2019 or 365 installation.

I don`t have this probleme when i change my TS to Windows 20H2.

We are running SCCM version 2103.

When i deploy a task sequence with 21H1 without office, it completes succesfully and i`m even able to install Office afterwards from software center.

Any idea what could be the cause ? In the log, we get the generic error of 0x8004005.

Answer

0x8004005 is shown on this page (Error messages when you scan for updates - Windows Client | Microsoft Docs) to indicate there's an issue when scanning for updates. Me, I'd check to see if the update settings on the 21H1 machine are different from the 20H2 machine.
