Windows Media Player 9.x
Morning,
I'm trying to install Windows media player 9.x via Microsofts Enterprise deployment tool. I install it and set it up on the host computer etc etc package it up using the MS deployment tool which creates an MSI with the options from the installation (views, not going to the guide etc)
Now the problem happens when I try to deploy it. It does everything fine save for a few quick popup file copying things (very short, would rather them not show up but I can live with that) Near the end of the installation it somehow tries to run the hotfixes for wmp9. But I think it must be passing them the wrong switch because for the three hotfixes I get three popups stating the various switches available for each hotfix. I belive it's downloading them somehow because I did not include them in the MSI package.
Is there a way to stop it from downloading the hotfixes and running them during the initial installation? I'll apply them myself later on.
Is there a way to pass the correct switches to them? (I'd rather the first choice of not having them go on at all).
Thanks for your help whoever may have information.
