WinINSTALL not installing reg edit to HKCU

[font="Trebuchet MS"]
Hello All,

I'm trying(so far in vain) to use WinINSTALL to push out a registry edit to an existing key in the HKCU hive. I've tried importing the reg key into an NAI package, and I've tried using a batch file containing the reg key in an NAI package. Neither have worked by 'pushing' the package down to the target machine. However, they both work if I use the interactive installer from the target machine and 'pull' them down.

From what I can tell at this point, it's a permission issue. WIadmin doesn't have the rights to HKCU to modify/add the key... I've added wiadmin to the domain admin ou to see if that made a difference, it didn't... right now I'm reaching for straws...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

If you have the agent installed on the client machines and you are pushing to them check the HKCU of the account the agent is running under, I suspect the settings are going there.
