Wise dialog query
Please excuse my ignorance but could someone please clarify the message box that I occasionally get when editing an package:
"This Windows Installer file contains upgrade information. Do you want to want to search your datasource for the packages to use when creating components"
I normally choose no to this, thanks in advance.

If I recall it's used for syncing your existing component so they end up with same GUID and resources.

i believe the message is trigger from a populated upgrade table. the result is AngelD answer.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,so that the conversation will remain readable.
