In the previous working sequence on 4.1, I see following registry information in osd
<VIRTUALENV TERMINATECHILDREN="FALSE">
<REGISTRY>
<REGKEY HIVE="HKCU"KEY="Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam">
<REGVALUE NAME="" REGTYPE="REG_SZ">%COMPUTERNAME%</REGVALUE>
</REGKEY>
</REGISTRY>
<ENVLIST/>
</VIRTUALENV>
Not sure why it is added, this doesnt allow me to import the sprj directly in 4.1 or 4.5 env & in 4.5 if i add this information in the osd after publishing
"SHORTCUTS DISAPPEARS"
The steps i follow are...
1. take out this information & then import
2. edit the osd
Anyone know what might be the reason of adding this regsitry or is there anyother method we can implement this?

you might want to read this article. Seems these registry key have to do with storing folder view settings on a machine for a specific user when using roaming profiles. During the login process the default value is compared with the current computer name, and if they do not match, any saved settings are discarded on the machine.
Not really sure why deleting them would cause your shortcuts to disappear though.
