Wrapping a Windows Update into an MSI?

Among other files with .exe setups, I need to wrap a Windows Update (it's part of SP3 but not available through WSUS so I can't deploy it) and deploy it through group policy. We don't have SMS or anything like it, so this job becomes difficult without having an ability to install software with administrative priviledges.

Please let me know how I can go about doing this -- we have Advanced Installer Enterprise to use as well, so if that's a help it would be great.

Thanks!

I think you'll have real difficulty with this one, especially if it's going to update any files protected by WFP (or whatever MS is calling that technology this week). As soon as your package updates protected files, WFP will simply restore the previous versions from its cache.

I guess the real question is, why are you trying to package an SP3 update separately? I presume you haven't SP3ed yet? Therein lies your biggest problem...
