Wrapping MS Security Patch EXE into MSI

Hello,

There was some deployment constraint and can only deploy files in MSI format due to which I am wrappin Microsoft Security Patch EXE into MSI using custom action "Execute program from installation".

Do you see any other way to do this or any drawback doing it..
I was reading this post (Benefit of wrapping a exe to MSI) but I thought to put this query saparately to clarify this particular scenario.

Thank you.

you need to make the requester understand that not all items can be released as msi. usually, those in charge who ask for some way of doing things are not aware of all the details. it's part of your job to explain to them and make them see reason.

anyway, this is only my opinion.
