Run qkrconn.exe /? to get all setup parameter. I installed and upgraded it with these:

Call "qkrconn.exe" /install /qr /norestart ADDLOCAL=WindowsExplorer,LotusNotes,MicrosoftOffice

I tried first to use the MSI installion with the extracted MSI but got the message that I have to remove the installed version before during a upgrade. A upgrade was only possible with the qkrconn.exe and switches. I had problem with inverted commas for the setup swtiches so be careful.
You can use /qr instead of /quite to get a reduced MSI installation UserInterface.
