You can silently install pcAnywhere 9.0 to the default directory C:\Program Files\Symantec\Pcanywhere using the -s switch with Setup.exe. This switch will not restart the computer after installation and you should restart the computer before attempting to use pcAnywhere 9.0.
Other command line parameters are available for Setup.exe. These switches are available from InstallShield and are not specific to pcAnywhere or Symantec. Further information and discussion regarding these switches is available in the InstallShield Knowledge Base document Q102894 at http://support.installshield.com/kb/.
pcAnywhere 9.0 Corporate Edition now comes with a utility named pcAConfig that will allow you to customize the installation files of pcAnywhere 9.0 without having to use command line parameters. If you need to create a custom installation job that changes the regular installation of pcAnywhere more than silent install, we suggest you use pcAConfig to do this.
