We’ve released a new code update to ITNinja today. After our big responsive site design and support for mobile devices, we had to spend some time cleaning up some rough edges. We’ve also started work on some bigger changes you’ll see more of in the coming months.
Here’s what we have in this release:
- Now, when you’re viewing the profile of another ITNinja user, you get a clear view of their profile data, content they’ve created, questions they’ve answered and badges they’ve earned.
- We have heard from users that it’s not clear that changes to your profile have been saved automatically. We now have a message telling you when the changes have been saved.
- We have fixed an issue that prevented you from editing links, as well as other performance and stability issues.
- We have also taken the first step toward a major change to our software library. We have always had some non-Windows software in the library but there was never a good way to find it. We are in the process of making the software library multi-platform. Right now, Windows is the only platform that can be chosen, but as we complete our work over the next few weeks, you will be able to add software for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android. We will also have easy filtering so you can quickly find the platform and version you’re looking for. We will have more information as we get more of these pieces in place.
As always, we appreciate your feedback through our UserVoice forum.
