1 machine can't connect to K1000, but can ping

Any ideas why one machine can't browse to our K1000?

I've got 200 servers and 1500 desktops communicating with our K1000 with no trouble. One (DB) server is unable to browse in Windows Explorer to \\k1000.domain.com.
It gets the "\\k1000 is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource..... This account is not authorized to login from this workstation."

But that same server can browse to other network resources and works fine otherwise. I logged on with my same domain admins account at each node I tested. Other servers\clients can browse to the K1000. Ping and nslookup are good with the same results from each node.

The machine with the problem has been managed by Kace for a couple years. It lost comm recently with no changes other than monthly updates. I disjoined\rejoined the domain a few minutes ago, but no change.

Thanks for any ideas or suggestions.

  • Firstly what version server and agent are you running? Can that device resolve the webserver name that is associated with the K1? And have you tried to reinstall the agent? - Hobbsy 7 years ago
