Add Existing Ticket to Existing Process

I have a process that was initiated and a new separate ticket that actually relates to the process and should be grouped in with the tickets in the process.

When I open the individual ticket and click on Parent to associate it with the parent ticket of the already created process it is not listed, only a couple of other parent tickets created manually.

How can I associate this ticket as a child ticket under the parent ticket of the process already created?

Right now I do not believe you can add an existing ticket to a triggered process, hence why you do not see the parent ticket from the process listed.
