Adobe Acrobat Pro X Crashes when Trying to Scan to PDF - Epson Perfection v30 on Windows 7

I am running Windows 7 with Acrobat Pro 10.0.0

I have a Epson Perfection v30 Scanner installed. I open Acrobat, and when I select Scan to PDF, pick the v30 Scanner, and start the scan, it does actually start and complete the scanning process. However, at the moment where it displays the results of the scan, Acrobat crashes with the following Signature:

We have 8 machines with Acrobat and this Printer, and I am able to repeat this with each system.

Does anybody have any ideas? Is anybody using the Epson Perfection v30 scanner?

As per Microsoft, This driver has no compatibility issues with Windows 7 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Epson%20Perfection%20V30%20Scanner&v=Epson&uid=B11B193141&pf=0&pi=6&c=Printers%20%26%20Scanners&sc=Scanners&os=64-bit

I have noticed adobe crashes for my users sometimes and they cannot open .pdfs or print them if they are open. The only resolution I have found is to restart the machine. It feels like adobe does not terminate itself properly all the time and this causes issues until the machine is rebooted.
