One advantage is that the inventory will pull in the warranty information for Dell systems. You can easily identify when machines are out of warranty through reports as well.

I just recently changed from a Dell shop to a Lenovo. I do miss the warranty info.
I didn't feel a huge change though. Other than a few different built in reports.
