Answer File for Scripted Installation Wizard
I am using the scripted install wizard. It creates an answer file that looks like unattend.txt. Can I go back and edit this with the same parameters that the unattend.txt would use? I want to add a [Components] section to turn off MSN and a few other things....suggestions?

Yes, you can modify this, go to the details of the scripted install you want to modiy. You will see an area that says "Setup Configuration (Hidden) Show
The word show is a hyperlink that will give you the details of the unattend.
If you are scripting XP, then:
MSN Explorer would be: Msnexplr = "Off"
Here are other components you can turn on/off with XP under that section (of course you can change what they are set to for your environment):
