App-V 5.1 multiple URL shortcuts in the same package
Hi all,
I'm new to App-V 5.1 but have used 4.6 for the last 3-4 years.
On appv 4.6 i could create three URL shortcuts in the same package and because it used to create three different .osd files i could import each individual in the appv server and assign them to different AD access groups. For example we have an application that has Live, Test and Dev urls and each need to be assigned to different AD access groups.
On 5.1 i have to create three different packages, one for each shortcut. Is there a way to do all three in the same package please? I have had a look online but can't find much info.

It's been a while, but I think you'd just create 3 different UserConfig.xml files (with your different shortcuts). Then you can add multiple AD groups under 'AD Access' (one group for each configuration file), then click 'Edit' on the 'AD Access' section, for each AD group change the assigned configuration to 'Custom', click 'Edit User Configuration' and then import the relevant UserConfig.xml file.
