Attempting to add Font which does get installed with application but does not show up in C:\Windows\Fonts for users. I do see it listed in CSIDL_Fonts though.

Is there any further adjustments I can make to get this particular font to work?

Tried copying straight to C:\Windows\fonts but locks up Virtualized tool - Appv 4.6 SP3.

Please advise.

  • Initial testing on Windows 7 has been successful and will move forward with user testing.

It is definitely a Management decision to move forward with Infrastructure upgrade to Appv5 which our VDI staff has been working on for the past year. Not all is in place but we do have this slated for this year. - a aa 8 years ago

the font directory is a special directory.  windows recognizes when you use explorer to copy one to the folder and also runs special background processes to install it as well as copy it

That'll be a question for the client, not the sequencer! And you can bet it'll be simply because they're behind schedule with infrastructure upgrades/improvements and figure that the benefits of App-V 5 don't presently warrant the expense of upgrading.

Why still use the old App-V 4.6 SP3 version as 5.1 provides more benefits with regard to fonts handling.
