Autopopulating lists with entries from Custom Fields
1. Is it possible to autopopulate one field by the selection of another field? for example, automatically filling in an email address based on a selectable user name? (Example, user puts down a name in the field, then another field is automatically filled with the email belonging to the user, similar to Gmail.)

The short answer is no, whilst you can populate a custom field using quite an advanced SQL statement, the one fly in the ointment is that you need to save the ticket to either get the SQL to update or to run a rule to populate the second field

Is there a way to make the query use the prompt in the ticket in a WHERE clause?(As in as the ticket is saved, The query uses the ticket's value in that ticket for its own values) Like an ID value inputted by the owner in one column, which is used in the query for another column for the assigned person, in the same ticket. - MC9921 9 months ago

Again, No, mainly because you have no way to pull the current ticket ID in as a variable - Hobbsy 9 months ago
