Backup Files question

I see from the Administrators guide that the two backup files include:

"Backing up K1000 Management Appliance data

By default, your K1000 Management Appliance automatically backs up at 3 A.M., creating two files on the backup drive:
k1000 _dbdata.gz – containing the database backup
k1000_file.tgz – containing any files and packages you have uploaded to the appliance."

But what about reports or other content that you don't necessarily upload, but create on the Kace? Are these also backed up as part of these two backup files, perhaps the database backup? Are all customizations and settings stored as part of these backups? Could I take these two files to fully recover a failed Kace? Thanks,

-john

reports are stored in the database.

You can take these two files and completely restore everything except the patch payloads (cab files, lst, etc) which can just be re-downloaded according to the restored subscriptions. And it happens at 2am by default.
