Backup of files from Kbox
How can I copy the most recent backup files that are created nightly by the Kbox and not the others? I recently upgraded the Kbox to ver. 5.2.38773 and of course this has the New Backup and Restore section and Kbox now appends the date to the beginning of the backup file names. This is all good but I still copy the files (file & database backup) off the Kbox to another location that is backed-up nightly by our Avamar system. I just want to be able to pull the most recent file (not all) but I don't know any commands for ftp to have it get the most current file based on the date. Has anyone found a way to do this?
Thanks.

Hi All, I just ran the FTP commands to "pull down" the most recent, but where do they get pulled into..If anyone catches this and has the location let me know. Thank you! - Thundarr72 10 years ago

I use filezilla and task scheduler on another server to pull the backup files from the k1000 onto the specified server. My Avamar backup system then backs up this server. Just in case the K1000 goes down and I lose my backups there. - rjobe 10 years ago

Are the appended dates on the file names only visable from the Kbox Backup section then? I figured the files that were copied over would all have the date appended to them just like I see on the Kbox. I had modified the .bat & .scr files to copy the Kbox_files to a folder overwriting the exisiting so I would get only one copy of each file for my nightly backup and not keep adding to the local folder/nightly backup. I'll change the .scr file back to original if that's the case.
