bkelly- pls read

You deleted my post b/c you thought it was spam. This section of the board is labeled "Off Topic", meaning subjects which do not pertain to packaging, right?

I'm new to this board and it's certainly fitting for an introduction to contain what a guy does for a living and for fun. I wasn't selling my services or my hobby, so you've left me confused and with a bad taste in my mouth.

It is possible with the increase in spamming that has been taking place lately that I reacted too quickly in removing your post. While off-topic could mean most anything, the intention is that it would at least loosely be related to desktop administration or more commonly the forum in general. The topic of "vaccum tube amplifiers" might be better suited in a new "way-off-topic" forum [;)]

I'd restore the post, but the image you referred to does not display; it instead lists the URL which further made this appear illegitimate.

Sincerely,
Bob

Good morning, bkelly. Thanks for the clear response. I'm not sure why the pics didn't show up, becasue I could see them when I hit preview. At any rate, I'll stick to the format and wait around for you guys to open up the "Way Off Topic" fourm [:D].

Hi Frank,

It was actually me who reported this to Bob and as Bob mentioned; at first sight it looked like spam.
We get our fair share of spam, more lately then before but stil.

You're right in posting non-related system management in the Off-Topic forum, I think we're too used to read about related issues rather enjoying off topic discussions [;)]

Great!

So you said you were a musician, right?
I've played both piano and guitar. But now I only dust off the guitar ones a year, try to play and realize that; no, this doesn't sound good and put it back again until next year :)

Ah, I'm the exact opposite- good at guitar- not so good at piano :(.

Maybe I should have mentioned that I throw away the piano for about 20 years ago, too heavy to bring to the party.

Bob,
That looks like a very expensive instrument!

At least you can play an instrument Kim, out of my siblings, I seem to be the only one that's tone deaf haha.

LOL Angel, I can relate.

I take a guitar out of storage (I have 6) about twice a year, try to play something new (or something I could play flawlessly when I was 20) curse, then put it back in the case.

I could have been a decent guitarist, but was always lazy and unmotivated.
