BSOD irql_not_less_or_equal
I just learned something new today. I'm posting it here in the hopes that it helps someone!
I was spinning up a new VM in VMware Vsphere 4.1.0. I never tried putting a K2000 image on a VM, but I thought why not try! I pulled down ISO from the K2000 to boot to my 32-bit KBE and as it tried to boot I got a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) specifying IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
My VM had 256 MB of memory allocated to it and the fix was simply allocating 1024 MB. It was really that easy.
