Can I setup an automated alert in the K1000 to be sent every 2nd Friday of every month?

Trying to send a desktop alert through the K1000 to notify users of upcoming app or os updates. K1000>Distribution>Alerts

I don't believe you can with the current K1000 - as it uses crontab style scheduling. I would really like more specific alerting like this too. Our maintenance weekend fluctuates each month, so I just modify the schedule for that current month and set the day as I do my preparation for that month.

The only part of the appliance that handles scheduling in that manner is patching. You could try to create a schedule that includes a notification but doesn't actually do much, but I'm not sure how that would work. Ideally, running a detect would fit the bill, but a detect schedule doesn't include notification options.
